Pick your schema type
Choose from 14 types: Article, BlogPosting, FAQPage, HowTo, LocalBusiness, Organisation, Product, Service, Event, Review, BreadcrumbList, Person, WebSite and VideoObject. The form updates to show exactly the fields that the type needs, with required ones marked.
Fill in the fields or start from a URL
Enter the details yourself, or paste a page URL and let the tool read the page and pre-fill the form for you. Either way, you review every value before anything is generated. Repeatable groups, like FAQ pairs and HowTo steps, can be added, removed and reordered.
Generate the markup
The tool produces a single JSON-LD object for your type, built only from the values you approved. The output is validated automatically: parseable JSON, correct @context and @type, all required properties present.
Copy, download or test
Grab the ready-to-paste script block with the copy button, download it as a .json file, or jump straight to Google’s Rich Results Test to confirm eligibility.

What is schema markup?
Schema markup is structured data added to a page’s code that tells machines exactly what the page is about: an article, a product, a business, an event. Search engines use it for rich results, and AI engines use it to understand and trust your content.
What is JSON-LD exactly?
JSON-LD is Google’s recommended format for structured data: a small script block of labelled values that sits in your page’s HTML without touching the visible content. It is easier to add and maintain than older formats like microdata.
Will the AI invent business details?
No, and this is deliberate. The generator only uses values you provide or that are extracted from your page for review. Empty optional fields are omitted rather than filled with guesses, because invented reviews or details can earn manual penalties.
How do I test the generated markup?
Every result is validated before you see it, and a Test in Google Rich Results button opens Google’s own testing tool so you can confirm eligibility after you publish. We recommend testing the live page, since placement mistakes are the most common failure.
Which schema types does the generator support?
Fourteen common types: Article, BlogPosting, FAQPage, HowTo, LocalBusiness, Organization, Product, Service, Event, Review, BreadcrumbList, Person, WebSite and VideoObject. Each type shows its own form fields, with required and optional properties marked.
Does schema markup improve rankings?
It is not a direct ranking factor, but it earns rich results, clarifies your entities and feeds the AI engines that increasingly answer your buyers’ questions. In our audits, missing or broken schema is one of the most common quick wins.
How do I add the code to my site?
Copy the generated script block and paste it into your page’s HTML head or body. On WordPress, use your theme’s header, a code snippets plugin or your SEO plugin’s custom schema field. The tool shows a short implementation tip with every result.
Is the generator really free?
Yes, free with no signup. Fair-use limits apply because generation costs us money on each run. We built it as the public version of a step we perform on every client site, and our SEO services pick up where the free tool stops.
