AI Schema Markup Generator

Describe your page and get valid, ready-to-paste JSON-LD schema in seconds. Every common schema type, checked against Google’s guidelines. Fill in a short form or let the tool read your URL, then copy the code straight into your site.

What is schema markup.

Schema markup is a layer of structured data you add to a page’s code to tell machines, unambiguously, what the page contains. Humans can tell your article from your product page at a glance. Crawlers can’t, at least not reliably. A small block of JSON-LD stating “this is an Article, written by this Person, published on this date, by this Organization” removes the guesswork. The vocabulary comes from schema.org, the shared standard Google, Microsoft and others maintain together.

The payoff comes in two places. In classic search, valid markup makes pages eligible for rich results: star ratings, FAQ dropdowns, event details and product information shown directly in the listing, which reliably improves click-through. In AI search, structured data has become quiet infrastructure: engines that assemble answers lean on it to identify entities, dates, authors and offers with confidence. Our own on-page audits treat schema as an AI readiness signal for exactly this reason.

The catch is that schema is fiddly to write by hand. Required properties vary by type, nesting rules are strict, and one stray comma invalidates the whole block. This generator handles that: you provide the facts, it produces clean, validated JSON-LD for any of 14 common types, and it never invents a detail you didn’t supply.

Here’s how it looks in action:

AI Schema Markup Generator

How to use this schema generator.

Pick your schema type

Choose from 14 types: Article, BlogPosting, FAQPage, HowTo, LocalBusiness, Organisation, Product, Service, Event, Review, BreadcrumbList, Person, WebSite and VideoObject. The form updates to show exactly the fields that the type needs, with required ones marked.

Fill in the fields or start from a URL

Enter the details yourself, or paste a page URL and let the tool read the page and pre-fill the form for you. Either way, you review every value before anything is generated. Repeatable groups, like FAQ pairs and HowTo steps, can be added, removed and reordered.

Generate the markup

The tool produces a single JSON-LD object for your type, built only from the values you approved. The output is validated automatically: parseable JSON, correct @context and @type, all required properties present.

Copy, download or test

Grab the ready-to-paste script block with the copy button, download it as a .json file, or jump straight to Google’s Rich Results Test to confirm eligibility.

Why we built this generator.

Solvid has been doing technical SEO and link building since 2015, and adding or repairing structured data has been part of nearly every audit we’ve delivered in those 11+ years. It’s one of the most reliable quick wins in SEO: high impact, low effort, almost always done wrong or not at all. We’ve lost count of the sites we’ve seen with invalid JSON, missing required properties or markup describing content that isn’t on the page.

The existing free generators didn’t solve the problem. Template tools cover two or three types and break on anything nested. Raw AI chatbots happily produce markup that looks right and fails validation, or worse, invent star ratings that could earn a manual action. So we built the version our own team wanted: every common type, strict validation before the output ever reaches you, and a hard rule that the generator never fabricates data. Since we launched our GEO and AI SEO service, schema has only grown in importance, because structured data is one of the clearest signals AI engines can actually parse.

A note on honesty in markup: Schema must describe what is genuinely on the page. Markup for reviews you don’t have or FAQs that don’t appear can trigger manual penalties. This generator won’t invent data for you, and that is a feature.

How the generator works.

For types where wording matters, like Articles, FAQs and HowTo steps, the generator uses AI under a strict instruction set: build one JSON-LD object for the requested schema.org type using only the field values provided, omit empty optional fields, invent nothing and return raw JSON with no decoration. For purely mechanical types such as BreadcrumbList and WebSite, no AI is involved at all; the markup is assembled directly from your fields, which is instant and cannot drift from what you typed.

Every output then passes server-side validation before you see it: the JSON must parse, the @context must be schema.org, the @type must match what you asked for and all required properties for that type must be present. If validation fails, the generator corrects and retries automatically rather than handing you broken code. In URL mode, the page is fetched on our side and the AI extracts candidate field values, but they land in the form for your review first. Nothing goes into the markup that you haven’t seen and approved.

Please Note:

1. This tool is provided for free, as-is. Valid markup makes pages eligible for rich results but does not guarantee them, and we do not guarantee rankings, traffic or any other outcome.

2. You are responsible for ensuring your markup truthfully describes your page. Please do not use the tool to mark up reviews, ratings or content that does not exist.

3. Fair-use rate limits apply so the tool stays free for everyone. Generated outputs are cached briefly to keep the tool fast and affordable.

4. Your inputs are used only to generate your markup and are not used to train any model. We do not sell your data.

FAQ.

Common questions about the AI Schema Markup Generator and structured data.
What is schema markup?
Schema markup is structured data added to a page’s code that tells machines exactly what the page is about: an article, a product, a business, an event. Search engines use it for rich results, and AI engines use it to understand and trust your content.
What is JSON-LD exactly?
JSON-LD is Google’s recommended format for structured data: a small script block of labelled values that sits in your page’s HTML without touching the visible content. It is easier to add and maintain than older formats like microdata.
Will the AI invent business details?
No, and this is deliberate. The generator only uses values you provide or that are extracted from your page for review. Empty optional fields are omitted rather than filled with guesses, because invented reviews or details can earn manual penalties.
How do I test the generated markup?
Every result is validated before you see it, and a Test in Google Rich Results button opens Google’s own testing tool so you can confirm eligibility after you publish. We recommend testing the live page, since placement mistakes are the most common failure.
Which schema types does the generator support?
Fourteen common types: Article, BlogPosting, FAQPage, HowTo, LocalBusiness, Organization, Product, Service, Event, Review, BreadcrumbList, Person, WebSite and VideoObject. Each type shows its own form fields, with required and optional properties marked.
Does schema markup improve rankings?
It is not a direct ranking factor, but it earns rich results, clarifies your entities and feeds the AI engines that increasingly answer your buyers’ questions. In our audits, missing or broken schema is one of the most common quick wins.
How do I add the code to my site?
Copy the generated script block and paste it into your page’s HTML head or body. On WordPress, use your theme’s header, a code snippets plugin or your SEO plugin’s custom schema field. The tool shows a short implementation tip with every result.
Is the generator really free?
Yes, free with no signup. Fair-use limits apply because generation costs us money on each run. We built it as the public version of a step we perform on every client site, and our SEO services pick up where the free tool stops.
