What a full ranking profile tells you.

Most people check rankings one keyword at a time, which is like judging a shop by one shelf. A ranking profile flips the question: instead of asking where you rank for a term you chose, it shows every term Google has chosen to rank you for. The result is often surprising. Sites routinely rank for hundreds of keywords nobody on the team knew about, and miss badly on the handful they obsess over.

Read properly, a full profile answers the questions that actually drive strategy. Which pages earn the traffic? Which keywords sit at position 5 to 15, one push away from meaningful clicks? Where does estimated traffic concentrate, and how fragile is that concentration? Run the same report on a competitor and you have their playbook: the keywords they depend on, the pages doing the work and the gaps they have left open for you.

Why we built.

Every audit Solvid has produced in 11+ years starts with the same move: pull the domain’s full ranking profile and the profiles of its three closest competitors. Before we form a single opinion, we want to see what Google already rewards the site for and where the gaps are. It is the fastest route from “we want more traffic” to a plan with named keywords and pages.

That first look should not require a paid platform. The free versions of this report tend to show ten rows, blur the rest and push a trial. We track rankings for 100+ clients, so we already pay for the data at scale; sharing a genuinely useful slice of it costs us little and saves everyone else the trial-signup dance.

This tool is that slice: the same profile our strategists pull on day one, free, for any domain you care about. Run it on your own site first, then on the competitor that annoys you most. The difference between the two reports is usually the clearest brief an SEO campaign ever gets.

A note on limits: A ranking profile shows you what is true today. It does not tell you why competitors outrank you or which gaps are worth the fight; that takes analysis of content, links and intent. That analysis is the first deliverable of every Solvid SEO engagement.

How the Rank Checker works.

When you submit a domain, our server queries leading SEO data providers for the domain’s ranked keywords in your chosen market, ordered by the estimated traffic each keyword delivers. One lookup returns the lot: keywords, positions, volumes, ranking URLs, difficulty scores and the totals that feed the summary cards. Results are cached for around 24 hours per domain and market.

This is index data, not a live crawl of Google at the moment you click. Providers continuously monitor results across millions of keywords per market and record which domains hold which positions. That is what makes a whole-domain view possible in seconds, and it also means the data has edges: very new keywords may not be tracked yet, and positions beyond 100 are excluded.

Traffic figures are modelled from volume, position and typical click-through rates, so they will not match your analytics line for line. Volumes and difficulty scores are estimates too, and they vary between tools. The numbers are at their best when used the way we use them: comparing keywords, pages and competitors against each other.

What does this ranking checker show me?

Enter a domain and you get its full ranking picture for a chosen market. The overview includes the following:

How many keywords does the report show?

The table shows the top 50 keywords ordered by estimated traffic, and the summary tells you the total number the domain ranks for. For most sites the top 50 covers the keywords that matter commercially.

Why are some of my keywords missing?

Ranking indexes track a large but finite keyword database per market. Very new, very niche or very low volume terms may not be tracked yet. Positions beyond 100 are excluded too. Your Search Console remains the fullest record of your own queries.

Which countries can I check rankings in?

Pick any of the supported Google markets from the country selector, with the United Kingdom as the default. Rankings are market specific, so a domain strong in one country can be nearly invisible in another.

Can I check a competitor's rankings?

Yes, and you should. The tool works on any domain, so you can see exactly which keywords drive a competitor’s traffic, which pages do the work and where they are beatable. It is one of the fastest ways to find keyword opportunities.

Where does the ranking data come from?

From leading SEO data providers that continuously crawl Google results across markets and record which domains rank where. It is index data rather than a live query, which is what makes a whole-domain view possible in one lookup.

What is estimated traffic based on?

It combines each keyword’s search volume with your position and typical click-through rates for that position. It is a modelled estimate, so it will not match your analytics exactly, but it is excellent for comparing keywords and competitors.

How fresh is the rankings data?

The underlying index is refreshed continuously, and we cache each domain and market lookup for around 24 hours. Whole-domain ranking profiles move slowly, so day-old data changes almost nothing in practice.
